Leadership can be taught but its better to be experienced. I have had the good fortune of working with many great leaders over my career and I’ve incorporated many of their best attributes into my own leadership style. The most successful leaders, lead by example, depicting the skills, qualities and competencies that are needed and expected to achieve desired results. Empowering, coaching and mentoring your employees helps them to become their very best. It helps them to realize their potential,  accomplish important goals and objectives, take on even great responsibility, and become valuable assets to your company. Yes, it does takes time, but as they observe you practicing what you preach, you will in turn observe them blossom into leaders themselves.
